East­er Sun­day, also known as Res­ur­rec­tion Sun­day, is a fes­ti­val and hol­i­day cel­e­brat­ing the res­ur­rec­tion of Jesus from the dead, described in the New Tes­ta­ment as hav­ing occurred on the third day of his bur­ial after his cru­ci­fix­ion. East­er Sun­day is this Sun­day, April 1st. The ser­vice starts at 11 am.

Maundy Thursday — Christ in the Passover Celebration

-Christ in the Passover Cel­e­bra­tion. Maun­dy Thurs­day is the holy day falling on the Thurs­day before East­er. It com­mem­o­rates the Last Sup­per of Jesus Christ. Maun­dy Thurs­day is this Thurs­day, March 29th. The ser­vice starts at 6 pm. Please join us for a Chris­t­ian inter­pre­ta­tion of the tra­di­tion­al Jew­ish fes­ti­val cel­e­brat­ed for more than 3,000 years. The evening will include all the ele­ments of the Seder; singing, sto­ry-telling, pray­ing and eat­ing. A full din­ner will be served along with the ele­ments of the cer­e­mo­ni­al meal. Chil­dren are most wel­come and part of the ser­vice. This ser­vice takes place on March 29th, begin­ning at 6:00 pm. There is no cost for this spe­cial event. Every­one is wel­come.
