Passion, gifts, and a desire to serve Christ in the context of First Congregational Church are necessary for being part of a ministry team. The passion comes from you; your desire to minister. The gifts, discovered in the Spiritual Gifts Class, or elsewhere, are given by God. The context is this church, as shaped by the congregation, and its elected leaders, the Board of Ministry.
